Soon to be new owner of 2013 Greyhawk 31DS

I soon will be the owner of a 2013 Jayco Greyhawk 31 DS coach. If all goes well it should be in my yard either this week or next. I had the coach professionally inspected and only two issues were found
1. Drivers and Passenger seats are worn (the surface finish has been flaking off).
2. The Onan 4000 QG RV air cleaner bracket is broken.
Two questions for this group.
1. Can the two bolts that hold the air cleaner assembly onto the air intake/carburetor on the generator be removed without dropping the generator out of the coach? It looks simple enough to fix just wondering if there is enough room to gain access to the two bolts with the generator still in the coach. Cummings wants $400 to fix and $70 for the part. Iíve seen the part on the internet for $7.00 and I can get by with a few scrapped knuckles for $400. Let me know if anyone has done this with the gen in the coach.
2. The seats are in good general condition but the surface looks pretty bad. Iíve searched several places online for seat covers but the high back and armrest seems a tough match to find Ďover the counterí universal seat covers. Has anyone got good seat covers without going the custom seat cover route? This is who Iíve contacted so far
a. Jayco Ė They donít keep any stock older than 5 years.
b. Lippert Ė I think they made these seats, I have not heard back from my requests.
c. RVseatcovers.com Ė Helpful but only available in Sheepskin and the price approaches a reupholstering.
d. Seat Covers Unlimited Ė They donít make covers for this coach
e. Local re-upholstering (local) Ė Final option, about $1k per seat.

I have read through a bunch of post about the furniture in these Coaches. Seems like a lot of folks really don't like the seats but I didn't really see any posted solutions other than re-upholster.

The pleather flaking is well documented as you found. I still haven't come up with the best solution. Now, we have cheap seat covers on the cab seats. The flaking sofa was just yanked and replaced with RecPro recliners.

As for the generator, I found a local, authorized repair guy who did excellent work for me at a fraction of what the Cummins dealer wanted. Maybe there's an authorized small shop near you?

The coach is home with us now. A bit intimidating for the first 10 miles but the remaining 30 mile trip to our home was pretty easy. I even backed it into our single car width driveway on the first try! Proud of myself. Looked at the gen and looks like something I can tackle. Seats aren't as bad as I thought. I have to wire brush and paint the propane tank.
