Sound System failure
We have had our 26y for about 1.5 years. On our first trip out, the radio got shorted out. Under warranty, a new radio was installed and some wiring reconfigured. On our 2nd trip, there was only static from the speakers, though the radio didn't short out.🙂 After more wires were reconfigured, we replaced the radio with an upgrade about the 3rd or 4th try at clearing up the problem.
The rig has been back to the dealer about 8 or 9 times for the sound system. it always works when we pick it up, and always doesnt work when we leave town. We only get static. We use CDs and bluetooth, as you cant rely on being tuned into a radio station. Sometimes we will get clear sound for a few miles then it is gone again. It is a most elusive problem.
My question is has anyone else had similar problems with their sound system? Have you found the solution to the problem? Perhaps ours is not the only one with a faulty sound system.
Thanks for any advice and thoughts on the issue.
