I also use the above Curt mount for the spare, except I had a hitch receiver put on the front of the vehicle, and the spare goes there. I did this for two reasons: Firstly, the 31DS is already kind of tail-heavy, so I wanted to get the spare away from the rear; secondly I could not use the rear hitch receiver because I tow a car.
The front mounted tire works great, even though it is not the most attractive thing in the world.

So, with the rims being interchangeable, but still different, what do folks do about rotating their tires?
