Question Splendide Washer/Dryer Combo: Securing Options...

Greetings... We had a Splendide Combo Washer/Dryer installed in our new 2015 Seneca 37TS; however, on the "bumpy ride home", the unit shifted (knocking open the closet door). It doesn't appear that it is secured in any way, other than the fear of God and gravity .

I see that Spendide makes a "SecureFit Bracket"; however, the directions SPECIFICALLY note that this system does NOT prevent "forward tip", which is what I think is my issue.

Does anyone have a suggestion on how to really secure this unit so that it doesn't "jump out" of my closet??

Thanks!!

Is there a way to bolt the unit into the floor? The plywood under the vinyl on my TT is 5/8 inches thick, which if attached to properly would provide plenty of stability, I think, to your washer/dryer combo. You might consider calling the manufacturer for their suggestions on the best way to proceed.

Wish I had a laundry setup in my TT. I just finished washing a work shirt in a bucket a couple hours ago. I save going to the laundromat for Fridays, usually.

Good luck with your challenge.

My Splendide has two metal tabs in the front that are screwed to the flood via two wood screws. Forward tip would never happen in my setup since the opening for the Splendide is just barely big enough for it to slide into.

The local RV Shop here (AllStarsRV) recommends that I have an "L-Bracket" installed that attaches the BACK of the unit to the framing on the rig - this would ABSOLUTELY prevent "forward tip and/or slide" when making a left-turn. Going to Camping World (where I bought the unit) this weekend to see if they have options (since they installed it). Will report back... Thanks!!
