stair malfunction

Good morning. Last week, returning from a trip from Mustang Island, my chairs were in lockdown position and would not retract. This happened one other time, and my 2018 Greyhawk 26 was under warranty. I assumed it had a bad motor. The motor seemed to start working again on its own, and I expect its a short or loose wire. Any suggestions? I have the stairs strapped in the up position and the pin removed.

chair malfunction

More information on my Greyhawk chair malfunction. I did check the fuse and it was OK. I have read references to "check the magnet" and "check the control panel". Can these be explained by anyone?

The magnet is mounted on the screen door. It makes contact with a switch that is mounted on the door frame. They can get out of alignment. Search YouTube. Lots of videos for fixing.

Update; it was the magnet that came loose. An easy and no Cost fix! Thanks!
