Roof is not 3/4 inch

The roof is not 3/4 inch plywood as I thought the diagram shows. it is 3.4 MM which is 9/64. I took off vent and light covers inside to check out the roof and there is no way I'm screwing into that. I'll put some carpet on the roof and maybe some plywood under my chair over the aluminum trusses. Jayco was very helpful in phone calls and sending me diagrams.

well - darn, 1/8" vs 3/4" is a bit of a mismatch.

Engineer spec'd 0.75, supervisor thought 0.5 would be as good, buyer chose 0.125 because of the price.

Reminds my of an engineering class. we had to draw a power supply. Then we had to draw all the circuitry with proper wattage resistors... etc. When the circuit called for a 1/4 watt resistor and I knew it was going to run hot due to being close to max tolerance, I used a 1/2 watt resistor. Boy, did I get chewed out by the professor. Said my power supply would never fail and I would be costing the company money!........ Go Figure!
