Steering wheel cover?

When we picked up our new 2014 Greyhawk 31FK last week, there was a vinyl cover of some type in one of the cabinets. (See photo.) After we puzzled over it a moment my wife suggested it was a steering wheel cover. I deferred to her opinion for two excellent reasons. (1) I had no idea what the darned thing was, and (2) in forty years I have learned that she is usually right.

And I must admit, it certainly fits the steering wheel perfectly.
