We own a 2017 Greyhawk 29MV, duel ac/s with a power management system, can anyone tell me if the PMS has a built in surge protector or do I need to purchase one?

Its in storage, I will have to check and see if I can locate that information as all I have inside the unit is a faceplate by the bathroom that provides a readout of electric use by the coach! I will reply tomorrow!

We have a 2018 MV29 and the first item I purchased was a Progressive Industries EMS-PT30X, which is a surge protector and a electrical management system. I won't hook to a pedestal in a campground without the PT30X in line first. It was expensive, but well worth the investment.

Ditto on the surge protector. I have the same unit on a 2018 Greyhawk and it's already saved my butt several times. Do not camp without surge protection I have the pedestal model of the EMS-PT30X but wired it directly into the electric bay. I didn't want it disappearing from the external hook up, they are expensive.
