Swivel Chair - how to turn?

Hello,

we bought our 2020 Jayco Redhawk 24B 8 weeks ago and made already a couple trips. First time owners, so not a lot of experiences but we love it.
Still working through all the issues with a new motorhome, my warranty list has already 8 points which our dealer needs to fix.
So we could not figure out how to swivel the driver seat yet. The steering wheel is always in the way.
Does anyone has some advice or maybe a link to a video?

thanks for your feedback, this is a great forum where i already learned a lot

Welcome to the forum. I have a totally different model but on mine you have to slide the seat forward and back as you swivel to clear the door or steering wheel.

Safe travels.

Put the seat back forward as far as it will go. Pull lever on side and pull front of seat towards the center and it should turn.

Jay24B it takes two people to rotate that seat.

One pulls the yellow handle, the second one pushes the seat back forward and then pushes the seat 45º toward the other person. Once in that position the seat can be rotated and then pulled back toward the cab door.

As far as the driver seat...we gave up on it. Even turned, the back hits the horn button if you recline any at all. It is not a good option but it is all we have. I spoke to the dealer and all they said was "As designed".

So far now we only rotate the passenger seat. It is very frustrating for my other half since the seat rotation was on the list of must haves.

Like the others said above, it's a game of slide forward and back, while rotating and adjusting the backrest angle. After a few times, you'll figure out a system.

thanks for your feedback, we will try it.

One more thing, everyone is mentioning the yellow handle? Our chair has only two black handles. The one in front of the seat to move it back and forward and a small stick with a black cap on the right side of the driver seat to unlock the rotation function of the seat. Same on the passenger seat as well.

So where is the yellow handle located?

On some of these rigs, that side handle down on the base, which releases the lock for rotation, had a yellow vinyl cover on it. It might have fallen off yours.

The yellow handle is on the side of the seat by the center aisle. One on each seat. They have to be pulled toward the center to unlock the entire seat for movement and rotation.

The yellow is a rubber cover over a black handle so it may not be there. Just look for a handle near the floor on the aisle side of each seat.
