Tail light issue

Has anyone experienced a short in your tail light? We have a 2019 Entegra Qwest (aka Jayco Melbourne Prestige) that has a short in the back right tail light. The RV is currently at the dealer getting fixed. Mercedes informed me that this is a common aftermarket issue with their Sprinter chassis. Our dealer is still troubleshooting the problem. Please share your experience. Thanks!

One of my tail lights lost about half of the LED dots. I went on line and found the tail light. Replaced it for about 20 bucks.

I have a 2017 seneca and none of the lights in back worked. This happened before my unit was ever sold.

Typically it is a grounding issue. I start with checking connections, then trace the wire to the chassis.

X2 on the grounding issue. A tiny bit of corrosion or rust and no current flow. If a bulb type it can be in bulb base or any connections including where the wire is connected by pop rivet or screw.

Try using a jumper or a voltage tester to make sure the power is there.
