Tank heating pads falling off! (again)

Hi all, I've searched the Forum before posting but I don't see any threads relating to this issue. We have a 2021 Redhawk 26XD and the tank heating pads under the coach keep falling off. Dealer has glued them back on and "assured" me they wouldn't come off again. Well guess what, here they are on the ground again! I'm about ready to rip the d***n things off and say the heck with them but guess I probably shouldn't do that :-/

Anyone else have this problem?? If you have a solution I'd sure like to hear it. My husband says Gorilla Glue but I'm not sure if that would damage the tanks!

Thanks in advance for your help. This is a wonderful Forum!

I used eternabond tape seeing as I had some leftover that I hadn't used for the roof top. This was about 3~4 years ago and they are still holding. Be sure to use a roller on the tape if you use eternabond. ~CA

BTW, Welcome to the Jayco Owners forums.

Keep in mind, Florida and AZ(where I live) are much different conditions than the North

Mine fell off within a few months of purchase in 2019
Re installed in 2020 by dealer..so far so good

The eternabond tap sounds like a good option... But I'd have the dealership fix it again since the GUARANTEED it wouldn't fall off again

If mine falls off I'll remove it permanently...no need for them in AZ

Fell off and I promptly removed. I never used them nor would I have any reason to. If you want to keep them, I would follow the advice here and use eternabond and skip the dealership.

I found the automotive double sided tape that they use for many outside trip pieces, and not had an issue with heavy rain while driving and extreme west Texas heat.

What about using zip ties to hold it on along with the glue? You can buy online really long zip ties (they are used in duct work), or connect several together to make long ones.

I used Gorilla tape after cleaning the surfaces well with alcohol. Been ok for 1 year so far. As mentioned, I'm sure Eternabond would work well. If they detach again I plan to just remove them. The factory put one on the bottom of the fresh water tank then put a support bar for the fresh water tank up against it.
The weight of the water crushed it and it came apart... Disconnected it, secured the wires and removed the remaining pieces.

Thank you everyone for your suggestions. Yes I believe it is definitely heat related. So hot here! I will try one of the tape options that you've mentioned.

The local dealership is a bit of a drive and such a pain to get to...would be nice if they made house calls since this is their mistake! :-) Plus how do I know they will even stay on again?! Thanks again!

Seems like a gimmick to install them and charge stupid money for something you really can't use. The underbelly isn't insulated so when you would need them you really can't use them.

I'd just remove them and move on.

Tank heater adhesives

Here is what Ultraheat recommends. Mine came off once.
