Television Hookup problems

We purchased a 2008 Jayco Melbourne second hand and have had a problem trying to understand the television connections that are included. Coming from TV through a controller into a DVD.
The antenna we currently have is a directional one.
Being that we have an older model, would we require a new antenna - digital?
Not real techy.

Thanks

Supposedly this antenna is suppose to be really good. I just bought one but haven't installed it yet.
It's a replacement head, fits the Winguard Sensar mount. Easy to install.
Comes with the booster too.

2008 antenna should receive analog and digital TV stations. Getting everything set up can be a pain. To receive over the air the antenna booster must be turned on.TV input is usually called TV, RF or coax. I had a RV television and it said antenna. Then run a channel scan in most large city areas you will find some stations no matter what direction the antenna is pointed. Hope this gives a start.

Booster on -check. TV input is set to TV-check. We have cable, air, hrc, irc as options - using the air option. Do the scan and it just keeps bringing us back to DTV as the input. All the cables are going through a Flexvision controller box. Cable worked at campground last night when we hooked it direct to tv. Not sure if some of the cables in the controller box might have got mixed up
