That time of year here in Colorado

We'll go from 70's to freezing tonight, to mid-20's tomorrow and then warm way back up.

Not ready to put the RV away just yet. We can sneak three day short outings into November.

So I won't winterize tonight. The beast is plugged in and we'll just run electric heaters.

Kids are praying for a snow-day tomorrow!

Sounds like an Oct 6 yrs ago. Camped at Chatfield SP waiting on the birth of a grandson, 70 degrees, then they predicted below freezing weather. We filled our tank since CG was shutting off water. Temp dropped to 17 and we had 7" of snow. Snow all melted and back to 60 2 days later.

You have "crazy" weather out there.

Yeah - it swings here more than any place I've lived so far.

Havard - yep. Several heaters, on different circuits. This is the third winter we've had to do this. If it hits a stretch of mid-20's then I go ahead and spend the $6 to winterize.

It's just we're planning on heading back on this Friday.

We drove over the Rockies from Grand Junction last May through snow flurries. Thank goodness the chain controls never came out. By the time we got to Colorado Springs it was a winter wonderland.

The next morning was blue skies and temps that reached the upper 60*’s.
