Thetfor Sanicon Turbo Macerator

Has anyone experienced "sprinkler effect" on their macerator hose? Any solutions? I have been looking for a marine grade extension or replacement as I have been reading of several mishaps with what comes with the units.

I've been looking for some type of nylon hose sleeve to protect it from dragging across the ground. Hoping to protect from wearing the hose.
I haven't found anything yet....

Try using a hydraulic hose sleeve to protect the OEM hose. The sleeves can be purchased on e-bay. You can order a replacement OEM hose from Thetford through an authorized dealer. I ordered an extra and a replacement, that way I can make an extension if needed.

How thick is that hose? Here is what I found on Amazon:

Yes that should work just fine. Make sure not to cut it short. Allow for enough length for when Jose is fully extended

Also wise to install a shutoff globe valve between the Sanicon discharge fitting and the hose.

Take Rick's advise, I did and it saved me from a huge mess.
Install a shutoff valve!

I installed a blade valve and then a 90 degree elbow on mine as a preventative measure.... super easy mod.

My RV is at the dealer now or I’d post pics.
