Tire pressures

1st trip after installing a tire pressure monitor system. I set all tires on greyhawk at 80lbs cold. After going a bit, I get pressures of 92 to as high as 98lbs. Is this normal? My toad pressures stay fine and constant. Even at 98lbs the alarm does not go off. temperatures seem to be fine. Is this normal for a heavy motorhome with 10 ply tires?

Hot tire pressure can increase by as much as 15psi. That's why they recommend checking pressure at cold temps. And it's why manufacturers base capacities at ambient outdoor temperatures. It's normal.

You must have had/have a REALLY light 31ss. 70 pounds seems awfully low to me w/ these rigs being so close to GVWR right out of the gate.

This is my last post I'm done with your comments. Always negative . I've travelled a lot of miles over the last 8 years in my 31ss and not sure where your coming from with only 2 years with yours. End of my rant
