Tire size

Any reason not to run 245/75/16 instead of 225/75/16 on my 2006 Escapade 28 foot?

Check for spacing between rear inner and outer tires. Make sure they don't touch.

One reason is that a larger tire is similar to changing the rear axle ratio to a higher gear, which may not be a good thing on many Class C's like mine that can't stay in high gear as much as I would prefer. I am curious as to why you would consider the larger tire, if it is for weight capacity then there are new 225/75/16"C" tires available now that have a higher weight capacity rating. ~CA

From bitter experience;
"If you tinker with and improve on mechanical things long enough eventually you ruine them."
