Tire snow chains

where is the best place to pick up some tire snow chains for a Jayco Seneca, 275/80 R22.5?

I look at cable chains, easier to install than regular chains. We ran them on snow plows and they worked fine.

I live in Colorado, and plan on making trips south to AZ for golf and spring baseball. In returning, we get march and April, and even May snows over the passes, and the CDOT enforcers the chain law. If you don't have chains, you get fined.

I purchased snow cables before my trip to Yellowstone in May. They are not as good as real snow chains but they are lighter and cheaper. For something I never expect to use they are a good compromise. I use etrailer.com for a lot of things and have always been happy with their prices and customer service. Give them a call and they will talk you through what to order. I am a belt and suspenders kind of guy and purchased them for all four wheels on my TT and all four wheels on my TV.

Thanks N of 49, I saw the auto sock and was wondering how well they worked. I like the fact they are light, easy to put on, and hopefully inexpensive. Plan is too have them in the RV, but if weather gets too bad, pull over and wait the storm out.

I think that is the best idea. I originally didn't even look at this post, but I was drawn in by thoughts of a broken tire chain tearing up the side of the coach. With you living in Colorado, I understand the legal concern, but waiting it out is by far the best plan.

Since we live in the state west of Colorado, we often are in "Colorful Colorado". Yes they have a very strict law that you must have chains "on board the vehicle" and they enforce that law as we have been asked to show them.

We have absolutely no intentions of putting them on - EVER, Never!!! but have them in the sealed bag now for three years now. I think we paid $80.00 for them, much cheaper than the ticket would cost.
