I think the hitch is rated around 8000 lbs. Does that mean the motorhome is capable of towing that much? I think our Ranger weighs around 4500 lbs. Will this motorhome pull it or will it be a struggle? Thanks in advance for any advice.

The vehicle's Rated Capacities sticker should still be in place on any motorhome you are looking to buy. Mine is on the driver's door jamb, but it could be somewhere similar on the one you are looking at. Check it out, but I agree a Ranger is within the acceptable weight range for a motorhome built on a Ford E-450 chassis.
