Welcome to the forum. My father had a Coachman Leprechaun 260 DS on a E450 Chassis with the V10. I am almost positive that it had a 7500/750 hitch rating.

Anyway, he pulled a Jeep Wrangler most of the time. But on their last trip to Florida before my mother became too sick to travel, he pulled their Ram 1500 with them since it was a little easier for my mother to get in and out of. They made it OK and there was no issue. But, I know that he complained that he could really feel it back there and felt that the Coachman struggled with it.

I'll talk to him tomorrow and see if there is any other feedback that he would add.

Hope this helps.

I don’t pull a full sized pickup behind me but I do pull an 8000 pound trailer behind me. Most of the time I’m under two hours but I have gone as far as seven hours. Do I get there? Sure. I take my time and don’t plan on setting any speed records. I average a little over 6 mpg. As long as you have that in mind, it will go fine.
