We tow a 14 foot car trailer with our UTV, total weight around 4000 pounds fully loaded with wood, fuel, etc.

We have also loaded our Nissan Xterra onto the trailer and the total weight was around 6200 pounds.

Both tow fine, a little slow on steep grades but we still can pass slower semis if we want to. Gas mileage drops to around 7-8 MPG in hill country.

Was looking at a Jeep Unlimited to tow flat tow, but am leaning towards a F150.

Watch your GCWR, tongue weight, brakes on trailer and speed. We have a 2019 29MVP.

We just started flat towing 2017 Equinox. There has been a significant drop in gas mileage. We have not checked it because we want the car so have yo pay the price. Our Greyhawk has no issue towing our car, but we do know it’s there

My only concern towing a car on trailer with the Greyhawk would be the additional weight. We tow a 2015 Grand Cherokee 4-down, and while the Greyhawk deals with it pretty well, you definitely know it's back there.

So, unless it's a light vehicle on a light trailer, I'd be concerned about the weight, and don't forget about the tongue weight. These rigs have some pretty bad CCC; 10% tongue weight would exacerbate that problem.

Otherwise, if it's within limits, I'd say go for it. Towing a trailer as opposed to 4-down definitely has its advantages. Not the least of which is being able to reverse out of a tight situation...

We have towed our 2004 Jeep TJ on our 16 foot trailer. The Jeep is setup for rock crawling and has lots of heavy armor on it for protection.
The trailer is an older trailer, steel frame and wood deck. I guess our total weight is just over 6000 lbs, give or take a little bit.
Our 29MV towed it just fine.

Where we are going with the Jeep, we don't need roads!

We tow a 7.5x14 enclosed trailer with out any issues, I don't even know it back there when we are traveling , we don't carry a lot of weight just 3-4 bikes to the races and gear.

that our rig with the silver and black trailer.

95% of our camping is boondocking at the races we use a Honda eu3000 inverter for power
