Would I like to add tpms to my jayco redhawk 22c .

Any recommendations ?

I can't recall my brand, but don't make the mistake I did. Pay the extra to get a model with flow through stems. Now that I am able to constantly monitor I am suprised how often I need to adjust pressure, mostly due to seasonal changes to temperature and it is a PITA to have to take the monitors off every time to change the pressures.

There are a good many who use them and have favorites. I have the TST system and it has served me well for 5-6 years.
I don't have flow thru sensors and have not missed them. They were not a option when I purchased mine.

I also use the TST system on our Redhawk. I used the same setup on our previous TT. I started off with the sensors on the valve extensions and that was a PITA. I ditched the valve extensions and bought the flow through sensors for the inner duals. It's much easier to adjust pressures and I don't have to worry about the valve extensions causing issues either.

We have the Tire Minder system, monitoring 12 tires. They do not have flow-thru stems and so far we only have been needing to adjust air in one tire on the trailer. They seal very well.

I've got the EEZ Tire/temp T515/SP system. I just put them on and ran from NY to FL, so far, so good. the only little glitch was I also put them on my 2 trailer spares, well they need movement to keep them active, I had a few interstates that were new blacktop and if the sensor was active, then goes to "sleep" it beeps at you every cycle (mine every 30 sec) for the trip it did it about 4 times for not more than 10 minutes each, then a bump reactivated the sensor.

However, reading other posts and their inputs, I'm not sure I believe the external temp monitoring being out on the stem and in the wind. I got about 20 degrees different between the monitor and a laser temp gauge, I check the tires/hubs with when we stop for breaks/fuel.

Have used the Tire Minder System for 2.5 years now. Works great. Same as SloPoke, no flow thru sensors, but only have had to adjust tire pressure at the beginning of the season after a long cold winter (which I remove the sensors for winter storage).

We have the TIRETRAKKER system and it works most of the time but if it loses a signal ( almost every day ) I get the same alarm that I would get if there was a loss of pressure so I don’t get excited when I get an alarm because of daily false alarms - I would not recommend this product because a real alarm should be different than a false alarm & I have voiced my concerns with the manufacturer and there is no solution that they can provide
But I would highly recommend a TPMS system because it provides great “ piece of mind “. Les

I am using the TireMinder system on our Greyhawk. I have sensors on my rear tire extensions, and they have yet to cause any problems. The sensors seal well, and the system has performed great!
