TS37 Front A/C & Heater Thermostat

We recently had the front A/C unit replaced and are wondering if it was installed correctly. Now when the thermostat is set to "Elec Heat" both the ceiling fan runs blowing hot air and the central heat fan runs blowing hot air. It sounds like the propane burner is running. Is this normal? I remember only the ceiling fan running prior to replacing this unit when choosing electric heat. The central fan would run only when choosing gas heat.

Correct. As stated, if the room temp is more than 5 degrees off from the set temp, it will kick on the gas as a booster to the electric.

What everyone has said is correct and according to Jayco the heat pumps will not be effective below 40 degrees.

Just like our heat pump for our house. Below 40 and the auxiliary heat strips come on.
