TST tire monitors

I am currently looking at purchasing tire monitors and wondering if anyone has an opinion on what ones are good or bad? I was at the Quartzite RV show and saw and talked to many of the vendors but I thought the best way to find out what really works is ask the ones in forums like this. I have a 2016 class c and towing a Jeep. The inside dual has an extender that is like coiled/flexible. I had someone who has a class A and he has the TST system on his and I showed him my duals and the extenders and he thought I should not have any problem using the TST on them. Any comments/suggestions would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks, Bill

All thought I don't have one yet.
Tireminder makes a Bluetooth model for use with your smartphone and an app.
It can do up to 22 tires and you don't have to have an extra moniter in your vehicle to deal with, store, and plug in.

I have the TST 507. We originally had it on our travel trailer but currently have it on our Redhawk. I originally had the sensors on the extenders on the inner duals but only one would work. The passenger side would only read 5psi. After loads of research I removed the inner dual extensions and bought two flow through sensors for the inner duals. So far that has worked extremely well. I was able to reach through the hand holes and with some careful manipulation added them without removing the outer wheel.

You'll want to make sure you have a "truck" style air tool and pressure guage to be able to reach them.

The TST system has been solid over the years and I like that I can replace the batteries with ease too.

We have the TST 507 as well, has worked out really well. We went with the internal tire sensors when we replaced the China bombs. We do need the repeater to get the signal to the truck.

The 507s have worked well for me. I like the flow-thru feature and that I can change batteries myself.

I also have the 507. No issues with it over the last three seasons, and I don't need the repeater.

I have the RV 510 system made by TST. It is older but performs flawlessly for 3-4 years. No repeater needed on mine. They are a good company to deal with.

I don't want to rely on my iPhone as a monitor, IMO it's important enough to have a dedicated monitor.

We have the Tire Minder TM66 kit with the range extender for our trailer. It covers 6 tires in the box - and we bought 4 additional tire sensors for the trailers tires.

We went 5,000 miles on the system and are very happy with it. There is a special peace of mind when you can check your tire pressure and temperature while running down the Interstate.

I just spent 30 minutes on their website and they give a very thorough explanation and very good 8 minute video. This is definitely the one I want and it gets rid of an additional monitor. Yuge fan of Bluetooth

Thanks for this thread...I was having difficulty making up my mind

I prefer to use my phone as God intended, to surf the net and to text messages.

4 things you can do all in one handy phone. Surf the net, text message, moniter JOF, and keep an eye on all 22 of your tires!

I have over 30,000 miles on my TST 507 setup. All valve stems are metal, so I went with the Flow Through sensors. The valve stem extensions on the inner dually had to be removed for them to work on my unit. The Viair RV kit I have can reach all valve stems just fine. The one down side is that I had to remove all of the hubcaps or whatever you want to call the shiny chrome things they shove on the steel rims.

After lots of reading I finally purchased the TST 507s - those with the flow thru. Two (of the four) are balky at airing up, the other two not as troublesome. If I was to purchase some again I'd get the removable ones.
