TV

I'm having trouble with my TV in my 2017 Jayco Melbourne motorhome. I can't get it to stay on. Any thoughts?

What is happening when it does this? power on generator or pedestal power? Did it ever work or is this a new problem.

It could be a inverter problem or the transfer switch between the inverter and ac input. Do you know if the tv is powered by an inverter?

Can you run an extension cord from the TV to a 110 power source outside of the RV to rule out anything in the RV?

Process of elimination

Be sure it's not the plug, run an extension cord to another plug
If it's not the plug, could be the TV itself

They are in a house that's in a constant Earthquake, so not sure a lifespan is long for an RV TV

Is the TV switch one of those Touch Sensitive switches?
When it goes off - will it power back on immediately?

I like the suggestion to switch the outlets to an extension cord plugged directly into the pedestal. My TV is on the inverter circuit. I'd imagine if the inverter is having a hiccup, the TV would go off.

That said, those Touch Sensitive switches are also known to have some problems.
