Do you have a permanently mounted roof satellite?
Standard setup is configured through the TV inputs via your TV remote.
The only difference between TV and campground cable (after connecting the campground coaxial cable to your RV, is to push the (green light) tiny button on the wall mounted striker plate. This will turn off the amplifier (green light off) for cable. For OTA reception the green light has to be on. Campground cable also needs to be "scanned", like you scan for OTA channels (little green light on). This again is done via the TVs remote once the input is selected.
My system has: Via input screen on the TV
TV input -- Over the air (OTA) reception (green light on)
Cable input -- Campground cable connection (green light off)
HDMI 1 -- Comcast (casting via smartphone)
HDMI 2 -- Dish portable satellite system
HDMI 3 -- Future Apple system
AV -- Audio visual via portable external hard drive.
Computer -- Smart casting for viewing what your computer monitor has showing.
Component -- Not setup for this
Hard to understand for the newbie but a necessary learning curve. All the wires, components and types of connections are inherent to each system and components we use and that in itself is another chapter. Good Luck..
