Looks like you have figured out how you want to install your new flat screen tv.

Others who are following this thread may want to consider using Super TV Grips by Thumb Lock Products to secure their tvs to a shelf. We purchased a set of these grips that have super tight adhesive on the grips themselves and strong plastic straps that are adjustable. We used the grips to secure an old style 19' tv to a shelf in a 2007 travel trailer. (Our 2010 trailer has a metal mount for the flat screen tv that looks like the one in the photos you posted). We purchased the Super TV Grips from our local Jayco dealer.

Here is the URL for the Thumb Lock website where there are diagrams of the fastener system: http://www.thumblockbyfsi.com/thumblock-marine.html

I got mine at my RV dealership.

Good luck.
