TV through stereo speakers
Hi there,
I recently got the Jayco 29XK, loving it! I did get the dealer to swap the stereo for me, I got a new Jensen complete with Sirius XM. However, there are no RCA cables or any other cables coming from the TV, which is the reason I can't hear the TV through the Jensen stereo I'm sure.
My question is, how do I run the cable to the stereo? I can't seem to find much on it, I know I have to pull out the Jensen and hook the RCA there, but I'm not sure how it gets back up to the TV. There is an from aux and HDMI port coming from the Jensen, I suppose that would work but then I would have this cable there all the time and the wife will hate that no doubt
Thanks for any help
Keith

I'm not sure if this helps - but on our Greyhawk, there's an AV distribution panel behind the TV. RCA red/white connections come out of the TV and go back to the Jensen to feed the ceiling speakers. I think. I'm not 100% sure because I don't use the ceiling speakers.
The DVD in the Jensen can also push video and sound to the TVs.
If the Redhawk wasn't factory wired with all of the cabling, I'd think it would be a nightmare to get some wiring run cleanly.
One thought - call Jayco customer service and see if they have some diagrams they can send you.

Wire fishing
I was able to run a new set of a/v component cables through the ceiling. I ran across the ceiling staying in the same rafter channel. I also pulled down a light and speaker to help with access. In the end it gave me a nice clean factory look for me TV and DVD player.

So just to update, I think I'm going to try a Bluetooth transmitter going from the headphone jack on the TV to connect to the Bluetooth stereo, from all indications this "should" work, assuming I can pair without difficulity. One with aptX for reduced latency

The goal is TV sound to Jensen head unit so it can feed Zone 2 speakers in ceiling?

We dont have a Jensen. We have a clarion. We hear the clarion sirius and cd and a dvd through all speakers but not the tv. I think we will go with a sound bar also.

If the TV has a 3.5mm headphone jack and the Jensen has a 3.5mm AUX input, a simple 3.5 male/male patch cord will work if you don't mind another cable.

TV through the overhead speakers
The cable with two 3.5 mm jacks is exactly what I do. Works great.

Dual XDVD256BT. $99 at Wally World. So far I've been very happy.

So for anyone with this problem in the future I purchased this and it works great. Hook it up to the earphone jack of the TV, pair with the stereo through Bluetooth and the sound comes right through all the speakers, pretty impressive actually.
