U-joint lubrication

Anybody have an opinion or experience with lubricating the U-joints on a Seneca? 6 joints and 12 zerks. Can't see pumping them until they ooze and sling grease on the frame like a ball joint, so I've just given 'em a couple squeezes with the air-powered grease gun in the past. Did a Google and opinions are like you-know-what, with everybody having one. How much is enough for 10,000 to 14,000 miles annually?

I pump grease in till it starts coming out all 4 bearings, yes it can be a messy cleanup but after I take shop towels and wipe the excess off to the point it won’t sling it off. I guess it just old habit of rainy Oregon life and off-roading where you want to make sure you force all the water out. It takes time but I’m retired and have the time. I do this with every grease point, I even wipe down ball joints. Something I found interesting is I was always taught when greasing a kingpin type front axle to jack it up to take the load off of it but in the Seneca manual on our 2018.5 it says do not raise the front axle.

Another Oregon fourwheeler from days gone by here. I always filled the U-joints until you see grease come out than wipe it off. I watched to see if all of the caps had grease comming out of them, if not, one of the joint bearings is plugged up and not getting grease. I knew than it was time to change that joint soon.
