Ugly fuel filler opening

Anyone else hate that unsightly fuel opening? I made a door to cover mine that looks way better. Cut a piece is 16 gage steel to match the size of the existing fuel insert. Glued two small hinges using epoxy on one side. Used a magnetic strip on the other side. Painted the door black. Looks much better.

It is sort of ugly, I would like a door on it.

I'm fine with my fuel opening. Doesn't keep me up at night.

Glad the fuel prices are down right now. Otherwise I might not like my fuel opening. LOL.

Never gave that a thought and I'm fine with no cover on it. Its on the opposite side of your camping hang out area and don't see it.

But to each his own. its a nice custom look though.
