Under microwave range hood

Hello,
Our 2019 Redhawk 24B has 12V light and fan switches that are running without running microwave.
2021 Redhawk 24B has a range hood model that runs only with microwave "ON'

Is there any modification to run in on 12V?

Thank you

That's very strange, the microwave is 120 volts, and the fan and light is on a 12 volt circuit. The two aren't connected, at least on our TT.

I have never seen that configuration. The MW is usually vented inside the rig and powered differently than the vent.
Keep us posted when resolve it!

On as in Nuking Something?
Or
On as in hooked to shore power or Genny?

Sounds like a standard Residential Micro/hood setup to me

Id test the power to the switches..see what it is

I wish mine was setup that way actually. The fan and light are built into my microwave, and therefore the power must be running to the micro to work any of it.

Mine (2016 Alante) runs independent of the MW. I got money says you can go into the cabinet and wire the light and fan to the load line ahead of that for the unit ( magnetron etc) but before you take my money let me add the caveat that if it's in the board, all bets are off. In a stick built you are required to have venting to the exterior for gas appliances, not sure if that code applies to RV industry.
