Upgrade my Jayco?

We own a 2019 Jayco RedHawk 22C. Does anyone know if the captain’s chairs can be upgraded to swivel and the dinette to a sofa?

I'd be willing to bet the seats from a 2021+ will work. They are a huge improvement over the old seats.

With enough money, anything is possible.

Lol exactly what my first thought was.

RV with Tito took out a dinette and put in a couch. Check out his YouTube channel.

Helpful suggestions that point the poster toward a solution are what these forums are all about. The experienced posters here generally avoid fluff.

That isn't always obvious when folks start digging into projects. At some point there will be a cost benefit calculation. The problem comes when that point happens too late to avoid wasting money.

This project may stall as soon as the OP prices the seats he wants and discusses the install process and cost. Sometimes a nudge past the "is it possible" stage is all a person needs.

In my years here I learned that everyone generally tries to help. I'm certain you're trying to help the OP as well.

Everyone gets the cost considerations. Just can't admit it was a dumb statement. Speaking of digging, time to drop the shovel; when you're in a hole, Don't Dig.

I post a lot of project results on here and have learned a lot from people who provide real guidance, which i have used to upgrade/improve my RV.. If i have nothing constructive to add i don't burden the reader with pap. As a senior member i would think you would do likewise. Enough said.

Brian's pretty talented. He's a good woodworker and all-around smart guy.

I watch some of his projects and in the beginning it's like hmm, I might want to do that and by the middle I'm thinking no way I could pull that off. I have half a garage full of woodworking tools but he takes some of those projects to a whole different level.

Thinking about the OP taking a dinette out isn't that rough. I think the challenge will be replacing the flooring and repairing any damage to the walls. The couch should just fit right in. It doesn't have to be a RV specific model, although there is a chance one would fit better. When Brian did his he needed to run electric for the LED lighting and USB chargers. But as always he made that appear easy.

Yes, I’ve done both to two different RVs. I replaced the dinette with a RePro sofa and replaced the flooring with vinyl plank flooring. I’d rate my skill level as average. Having the right tools really makes any remodel much easier. And yes I watch a bunch of YouTube Videos on these projects. You can do it!
