Use for Sewer Hose storage space

On my 2010 Grayhawk, aka Harvey the RV, there is a round storage space that was originally designed to hold the sewer hose. The hose I have has a diameter too large to fit into that space , so it sits empty.

Any thoughts of what I could use that space for? I was thinking of using it to hold some kind of outdoor rug, but I don't think it would hold anything very large

thoughts? Seems like something could go there...

That is a wasted space, isn't it? Its not big enough and not long enough.

For me, I still have a brown hose in there as a backup. I have heard some people use that space for marshmallow sticks. I don't know much else that would fit.

If you have used that space for a sewer hose in the past, and now use it for marshmallow sticks, please don't invite me to share s'mores!!

I have the hollow rear bumper designed for the sewer hose, but I use it for a 6' folding ladder that fits completely inside. I keep the sewer hose in a box mounted on top of the rear bumper that has the sewer hose and all the various sewer connection fittings.

I purchased a 5X5 vinyl fence post from Lowe's. Cut the round part off the old storage location and cut the fence post as long as would fit in the same slot and used that for one hose. Sealed the edges with metal dust tape and 90 degree brackets and cable ties to hold the other end. Mine touches the frame so I did not need to use a cap.
