Using indash DVD on site

Hello. First post here. I just purchased a 2018 Redhawk Se on a Chevy chassis. I plan on replacing the factory radio with a DVD head unit and connecting it to the TV. Does anyone know what source it will draw power from while hooked to site power or generator? Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Different model, different head unit - but ours pulls from the chassis battery. It doesn't get recharged when plugged in. I suspect yours would be the same.

A multimeter would let you know.
