No leaks at all on our V10. We have a little over 5000 miles on it now.

Over 16,000 and no leaks. Are you sure it's not the oil filter? Was it changed recently?

You'd get a lot more help asking this question in a Ford specific forum. Be sure to specify which model you have.

FYI: my recently retired 2002 Ford F250 V10 with nearly 185,000 miles didn't leak anything (except gasoline).

Yes you are right on track. It is a porous oil cooler. If the tech calls engineering in Detroit, there have been a few 14 and 15 v10s with this leak. I have a 15 29mv and it is dry so far, but the rescue truck I use at work is a 14 v10 and it started leaking with about 2000 miles on it. New one works awesome and dry as a bone. It is a warranty issue which is a good thing. Good luck.
