Valve stem extensions

Hello, being the new owner of a 2020 Greyhawk 29mv, I have a tire question. Can Discount Tire Store add valve stem extensions on my duallys? I can't even find the valve stem for the inside tire.

I cannot cut and paste very well on this IPad or I would put some of the threads on that topic on here but using the “search” at the top of this page and using your topic will bring up a number of previous discussions and suggestions.

Discount added mine but they have to order the better extensions. It might be better to go to some place that deals in RVs. I love Discount but they are limited in some things.

First of all yes you can add valve extenders no problem. I would recommend you first put steel valves on or using extenders you will have issues down the road with leaks using valve extenders. To have this done I would recommend going to a truck tire repair place that is reputable.

There is a company called Wheel Masters that makes all kinds of valve stem extenders. A quality product, but are not too cheap.

Amazon even has them......

Had mine done on my 2020 29MVP by a recommended shop that specializes in RVs. They have been great for 5,000 miles. They used a kit that included metal stems and brackets that attach the braided extensions to the wheels so they don’t flop.

Great, glad it worked out.

Check with les Schwab tire, they have valve extension. It costed 6$ for both and they it it on for me. No air leak since they put it on.
