Ventilation

How tight are these RVs sealed together? Do they breathe? I have a 2017 Greyhawk 29MV and I 'air' it out every morning to replace the stale air from the previous day, no matter the weather. The ceiling fan in the bedroom ceiling does a great job in a short time. I can then turn on the heat or A/C if needed after closing the dinette window.

Coming from a family of deep rock miners, we grew up conscious of unventilated closed in spaces (think oxygen).

I know cars ventilate themselves for safety reasons even when the vent is set to recirculate. Does the Ford RV cockpit do the same? Does the ceiling A/C vent outside air even when it is not running?

My farmhouse is so tight that I can feel it in my ears when I close the front door, but I don't feel anything when I close the main door on the Greyhawk.

Just take a look at the sidewalls, with so many openings for Frig, HWT, Furnace, Storage Doors they are far from air tight. I would think the Ford cab operates the same as cars and trucks. As far as I know the roof AC does not use any outside air.

I installed 2 vent covers so I can keep them open year round. TT always stays fresh.

Many many holes, I was running wire for solar opened panel under bath sink could see the ground thru plumbing hole in floor which I sealed, then where shore power comes thru floor mud daubers build nests inside wiring box under the bed,I think they hire a beaver to make the holes.

Good points about all the ventilation holes and orfices. I still vent it for 5 minutes in the morning via the bedroom ceiling fan. I'm a full timer and this thing mostly stays in one place depending on the season.

Drive it for a couple hours down a dusty dirt road... You'll never worry about it again.
