Vinyl flooring seems detached

Hey, so my first question is about the vinyl flooring in my 2010 Greyhawk. It’s lifting in the kitchen area and seems detached. I imagine its perimeter bond flooring but is this normal?? Thanks Robb

There have been a few posts recently about screws backing out underneath a vinyl floor. Is yours just one small point or a large area lifting?

Kind of a large area. In front of the sink and stove. Doesn’t feel soft like rot but it’s bubbled up.

Vinyl expands and contracts with different temperatures, and vinyl flooring is usually floating in that there is no adhesive of fasteners. If could be different in an RV but not sure. Usually in a home there's a 3/8 gap left around the perimeter to allow this movement, but if something pins it solidly, it can rise up if it cant expand. In an RV, I think all the flooring is put down, and then all appliances etc are put on top of it. I've long wondered why we don't see more of this kind of problem. It may lay back down with a change in temperature, or try and look to see where it's pinned to the floor. You might be able to release some pressure point there.

Mine did the same I end up cutting out the flooring and installed a different floor cover, it had got so bad I started tripping on the humps in the flooring
