water heater

Can someone tell me how to tell which water heater is in my Seneca. I understand in 2017 a new unit was used. But I also heard that some have the old water heater. I'd also like to hear what problems folks had with the old unit.

On the interior control panel is there a name? Or can you attach a picture of the outside unit with the cover open? That would allow us to give you a definitive answer.

water heater

2017 should have a Girard generation 3 with an electronic control display. 2018 models were changed to the Truma basic model.

Most reports on the generation 3 seem to be an improvement over previous models.
The main complaints related to on demand heaters is related to delay to getting to temp related to excessive water usage . Low flow operation resulting in poor temperature consistency or operation. lack of ability to control water temperature.

Huge number of posting on this site that are available with specifics.
