Water issues

We winterized our ClassC Greyhawk 31J. In a couple of weeks we hooked back up to city water and we can’t get the water to flow in the motorhome now. The water appears to be going into the fresh water tank . We only open low point drains to remove water in the lines. We left the heat on inside. Help???

Did you go into your compartment and change the water control valves from "City Fill" to "City Fixtures" (2 and 6)?

That was the problem. Obviously one of us moved that. Thanks for your quick response!

That's probably your issue 1-6 fills the tank, 2-6 sends water from the hose to your faucets, and bypasses the tank.

Yes, to 2-4, to suck in anti-freeze from the jug.

Don't forget to flip the cone shaped screen in the outside water connection, so it pushes in on the check valve. Otherwise, the pump may not suck in the AF.

We live in south AL so we want use the antifreeze method. We leave it connected to electricity. However, would we need to move those controls when we drain the water?

We have a tankless water heater - what should we do with the heater. The directions are not real clear to us!.

How do we check the water pump filter that pumps the water from the fresh water tank. We left the pump on for a while. The directions said it had to get to 45 lbs and it would pump the water. However we turned it off after it ran for a while. We were thinking maybe the filter needed to be cleaned. The pump is order the bed but I can’t see how to access it! Help!
