Water Pressure

I have a Redhawk and the water pressure is very low in the sinks and shower. Anyone know how to solve this problem? Thanks in advance!

Do you have one or more water filters that need to be replaced?

Take the screens off of the facets and try them again. They get plugged up easily. I'm assuming full pressure from the campground H20 system?

On the pump/tank or are you hooked to city water? Do you have a regulator installed if you are on city water? If you are using a regulator, does it have a pressure gauge and what does it read?

If we know more specifics maybe we can provide more help.

Thank you I will check that. The only filter that I know of is under the kitchen sink.

We do not have a regulator and on city water. We are staying in a campground.

If neighbors have no pressure issues I agree with others it could be a screen partially clogged. There is also a screen where your water hose connects to your RV. And it could be the aerator screens as previously mentioned.

Have you tried switching over to your tank and pump to see if things improve? If you switch and have good pressure it isn't your plumbing, but likely something restricted in the supply. That outside screen I mentioned, kinked hose, campground valve partially shut off, etc.

I have a 2018 Greyhawk 26y and can not figure out why the water pressure is so bad at all sinks and shower. Removed the brand new in unit water filter under the bathroom sink and it’s still low pressure thru out the unit even when connected to my city/house water supply. I checked the screen at the city water connect and it was clean. I’m open for suggestions as I’m out of ideas.

Could be as simple as poor water pressure at the campground. On another note, you really should think about getting a water pressure regulator. High and low water pressure at campgrounds is an issue.. Low won't hurt anything, but high (last year where we stayed was almost 140 lbs) can cause real issues. In the west where we were last year, the pressure is high because they pump it up the hill to houses.. if a few thousand feet is a hill..
good Luck.

And throw away those cheap "flow restrictors" that they call regulators. They don't get the job done right. Spend a bit to get an actual regulator with a gauge that can be adjusted. We had high pressure on a flow restrictor a year ago and it over-powered the thing and caused a leak at my hot water tank inlet. Threw it away after that and bought a regulator. It took a while to figure out the adjustment (had low pressure for a while until I brought the pressure up a bit) but now, works like a champ.

I always carry a water pressure gauge similar to this. It can help you solve may problems when camping.
