Had a similar problem a couple years ago. We were at a CG up on a big hill, and had lousy water pressure. The owner checked the water pumps used to push it up the hill, and said all was good. It wasn't 'till the last day, unscrewed our pressure regulator (with a screened washer) and found the screen was pressing against a "pin" in the middle of the already-there regulator.
It was so small, we didn't even notice it. VOILA....lots of pressure!! I did tell the owner of my screw-up, and he had a good laugh. Now, we look FIRST to see if there's a regulator already on the hose connection.
