Water pump

I have 2014 Seneca. When hooked up to park water my pump comes on then shuts off when any faucet is used but not the toilet. Is it common for the pump to come on this way?

no, something is set incorrectly. The pump may have more than one on switch.

If you're hooked up to a water stand your pump shouldn't be turned on.

Do you have a second pump switch at an outside shower or faucet by the dump controls?

On my Eagle, they both have to be off ( they are not lazy man like home light switches )
