My water pump stays on after turning on a foucit.
It runs till I flip the switch.
Also the water is coming out in spurts. Not running like it should.
The tank is full.
There are four valves around the tank. All are open except the drain.
Should they be open or closed.
My manual dosn't say.
I had the same problem what I found was on the inlet side of pump there was a screen type filter it went bad or the O ring went bad I replaced the whole filter and that ended my problem. It was sucking air as well as water .
It looks like someone was in there with some mods as the valves and hoses do not match up based on the photo. Is the clear hose for adding antifreeze? While the pump will run once the faucet is opened it should shut off once you close the faucet and pressure is back to max cut off level. Air is coming in from somewhere and if all the valves are open you could be sucking air in somehwere.
Or like mentioned above on the screen. Backtract as best you can from the pump and check all the fittings for loose ones.

Just expanding on what 3'senough said, if the valve closest to the clear plastic line is open it should probably be closed. Try that and see what happens.

Got it.
There are four valves but only one needs to be open.
I closed everything and then opened one then closed and opened an other.
Finaly hurd the pump shut off and the water started flowing right.
What would I do without y'all.
If your ever in Laredo or I see you out there I'll buy you a cup of coffee.
I have no idea what the clear hose is for.
The RV was in Santa Fe, texas before we bought it.
It freezes about once a century there.
Right on the Gulf.
I thought it was an over flow hose but then why put it inside the cabin.

The clear hose by the pump is to suck antifreeze into the water system. If is comes on a trailer as standard equipment, all of that model will have the hose regardless of where it is being shipped to.
