Water system questions

Ok I’m confused. I thought I better sanitize my fresh water tank to preserve the seals. I have only used city hook ups since I bought it. 2020 redhawk 24 B
Where is the fill for the fresh boondocking tank? If it’s the same tank as city water how do you put in the sanitizer! Take out the screen gasket?

I don't have your model but I suspect how I sanitize my tank would apply.

The fresh water fill is likely the same connection you use for city water hookup. There's usually a valve you turn to switch from 'water direct to faucets' to 'water into the tank'.

There are a few ways to put the bleach into the tank, but one easy way is to just pour it into the water hose -- before you attach the hose. Your typically only talking a cup or cup and a half of bleach, so it's not hard to carefully pour it into the hose.

Then hook up, fill, and let it sit.
