waxing, polish, what?

I have a 2016 DS and love how it looks and shines. I know that will not last, what do people use to keep the appearance up to "almost New"?

Also do you wax the fiberglass roof? I want to but the texture in the fiberglass would be a bear to wax.

I have an old tyvek cover from a bigger Fifth wheel, should I find a way to adapt it to the class C? is there any easy way to install a fabric cover?

I am planning to use Chemical Guys Jetseal. It's a bit pricey, but I've used it with awesome results on my daily drivers. It goes on fast, sets up in 20 min, then buffs off without any issues. If you apply 2 coats, as directed, it will last a whole year.

Aside from my vehicles, I use this on my motorcycle helmet visor and shower door. Makes cleaning either a breeze!

Buddy just showed me this Lucas product, he uses on his class A as a touch up. Just finished clean-up on my 5W from extended trip. He spread some on the front cap and there was a definite "shine" improvement.

I think their expensive stuff is more of a troll than it is for sale. The jetseal is $40 for a bottle. I've used one bottle on 5 vehicles and still have 1/2 left.

I have been using Liquid Glass Polish for many years on RV and Cars. Works great, easy to put on an easy to take off. I've waxed my cars and pickups many times only using 1 16oz can. A little goes a long way. It's $25.50 at Amazon, I think about $30 at AutoZone.

We use the Lucas product also. Very pleased with the ease of application and how nice the finish turns out. The best is that is can be applied on wet or dry surface and can also be applied in the sun. So many products say not to apply in direct sun.

wax

x2 on Turtle Wax Ice. I used the spray wax before our 2 month road trip and didn't touch it until our return. Used Turtle Wax Ice soap to wash and got complimented last week at the beach for the nice appearance of a 2014. Looks good after 4+ months. Did have problems with the spray nozzle clogging when applying.

We have am htt. It still has a nice finish to it. I hate waxing vehicles. Historically I have used "Spray Power by Crown" to clean the bad stuff, bugs and black streaks. Spray it on full strength, then use a bucket and a long handled carwash brush, and wash it down. For soap I use McGuire's carwash soap with wax. It's not the best wax bit does a nice job.

On my last rv the coach had no shine since it was a 2001. I used zep floor polish and with 3 coats it looked like a brand new coach. I was amazed by how nice it shined.
I found this video when I was searching originally for a product.
