WeatherTec and antenna

Testing short radio antenna, Weather Tec floor mats fit the S2RV chassis perfectly.

Why the short antenna? Is it supposed to improve reception or some other factor? Just wondering.

I put the short antenna on because I think I’m getting a lot of wind noise (whistling) from the tall antenna under cross wind conditions. Just testing it out. Radio reception which has never been good with the original antenna. Just playing around for fun. Going on a fishing trip this week so it’s a good chance to test stuff m

I’m a big fan of WeatherTech! I have them in all my vehicles. Will the floor liners work with just the rubber floor instead of carpet in the cab? Would like to know as my Entegra only has the rubber flooring in the cab.

Hey noticed you have a piece of carpet over that cover that's in between the seats in the S2RV chassis, what are you using? Is it safe to cover that due to heat?

Thanks,
Jeff

Weather-Tec mats fit perfect without carpet in the cab. What you see in the middle is a small piece of carpet the dealer put in the cab because there is not carpet in the 2019 Seneca. Carpet on the transmission will not cause the transmission to overheat. Most senecas are fully carpeted.

Thanks!!! My wife was asking me about that but I wasn't sure I could cover it safely so now that I know that I can.. She'll want it covered...

For the Weather-Tec mats, the only option I see is for the M2, is that the same as the S2 so far as their mats go?

Thanks,
Jeff

The weather tec web site had a check off place for both the M2 and S2RV. I think they are both the same it’s just for piece of mind. You could call them

On the M2 and S2, the cab, doors and hood are the same.

I think Husky Liners makes a heavy duty floor mat for the Ecoline cut a way with vinyl flooring. I actually prefer the Husky liners over the Weather Tec. I have the husky liner in my truck and they’re awesome.
