Well that was odd

I took my Greyhawk in for warranty work at my dealer today and I got the general impression that I was a burden to them with the issues I was wanting fixed. I will be seeking a different place for all future work. Hopefully some independents are Jayco certified.

Somewhere between the oh we won't look at it until your appointment day and then we have to get approvals from Jayco and that will take about 48 hours, and then we can actually order parts which might take 2 weeks. Smh, really?! I gave them the pinch list three weeks ago when I scheduled the appointment. SMH.

Unfortunately some Jayco dealerships lack people skills.

Not odd to me at all. We took our Greyhawk in for service and arrived about 30 minutes before the service counter closed [we knew it would be there for a while]. We went into the service office and the guy at the desk told us that he had a personal appointment and had to close up early. He took our papers and our keys and pushed them off to one side.

Hubby was FURIOUS. I was flabbergasted!

My decision to buy a Jayco Precept was more dependent on the reputation of the dealer I was purchasing from than on the manufacturer. I figured that at the end of the day, all motorhomes will have their problems (some more than others depending on the day of the week they were built.) It's the dealers that will either make or break you in terms of loyalty to the brand.
