What year and model MH do you have?

Can you describe the location of this squirrel damage?

That looks like the charcoal canister (EVAP) lines.

Thanks Foglght, It is a charcoal canister (EVAP) lines.

Jagiven, the damage is pretty much where the picture shows it. The model is a 31DS 2016 Jayco greyhawk.

I believe I'll have to replace the plastic lines. Good thing is this damage shouldn't keep me from using the RV.

Stopping the rodents is going to be the hard part. They also ate through my generator gasoline...again.

Shouldn't be a hard repair/replacement. If you drive it in the meantime, it will throw a check engine light if the temperatures and gas level are in the range of when it does a test.

Ambients would need to be above 40F before the truck would even run the test.

Charcoal canister and purge valve. It'll throw a light.

There's a couple of hot pepper spray formulas on the web that take advantage of the capsasian in the peppers to repel just about anything that likes to eat rubber and soy insulation. I bought and used this stuff quite a few years ago to spray in the engine bay of my cars in winter storage because it contains a wax that coated well and suspended the repellent. Worked fine for me.

I put these all around the RV and tractor. 2 years and still all good. I see field mice all the time near by while bush hoggin. I also drop dryer sheets and kill bait. Can't ever have too much, but I think these to the most work.

Yep...a "check engine" light. You can reset it if you have a OBD-II scan tool (that resets trouble codes also). Or, the light will go out once the repair is performed.
