What say you on Michelin Defender tires - discontinued?

I have (4) one year old LT225/75 R16 Michelin Defender tires on the back of my Class C 31FS motorhome. Today I went to my local Discount Tire store to replace my six year old front tires with like-kind tires in the rear. They tell me they are not to be found in stock anywhere and instead offered to sell me Michelin Agilis. Does anyone know what is going on with Michelin Defender tires? I have noticed my Defenders in the rear run a bit rougher and require much more attention to air pressure. I could do more of a search locally for Michelin Defender but if these tires have a known problem it would be good to know before I buy more of them. Your input appreciated.

I don't know why but there seems to be supply problems with Defender tires. I tried to buy a set myself several months ago and back then they said they were backordered. Try shopping around, I really like them but settled for less and regret it.

I went through this last year when I needed to replace the Michelin MS2'S that I had 42,000 miles on (2016 Thor Freedom Elite 22E). My first choice of course was the MS2's but they were discontinued. Next I tried to find a set of Michelin Defenders. I called Michelin and was told the Defenders were discontinued and the Agilis were the replacement. So I sold that RV and bought a new 26XD. That will teach them!!!!!!

I was told the same. The Agilis are the replacement for the discontinued Defenders. I've had the Agilis on my truck for the last 4 months...I can't really say anything bad about them.
