What would I have done ? Well, if I was at a campground, I would have asked my neighbors for help - tools, jack, whatever was needed. If no jack, then would have driven up on some leveling blocks on the good tire, lifting the flat one off the ground. Have never camped with neighbors who weren't more than willing to help if they could. If no immediate CG neighbors, then would have tried to find someone that could contact police or rangers for help. As a last resort, would have driven as you did, very carefully, until I got somewhere that had phone service, either landline or cell. The reason for last resort is that if that tire blew due to overloading, you could have had a bad accident. Safety is always the first consideration. JMHO
